    FIRE HYDRANT INSPECTION (Rusty Water) The 28 and 29th of  November 2017 Between 7 am and 5 pm The company Aqua Data mandated by the Town of Huntingdon, will perform a complete and detailed inspection of fire hydrants throughout its territory to make sure these meet the required safety standards in case of  fire. Consequently, there may be a loss of water pressure with or without an orange or rusty appearance.  However, there is no health hazard. What to do in case of rusty water? If the water is colored, open the cold water faucets in your home and let it run until the water becomes clear (about 15 minutes).  We recommend that you wash the laundry and dishes outside the hours mentioned above.
