Infrastructure

The road network of the city includes 20 km of streets. A mixed sewer network of sanitary and rainwater sanitizes the Town of Huntingdon. This network consists of 25 km of pipeline and 310 manholes. It also includes two other drainage systems to transfer wastewater to the treatment plant located northeast of the city, as well as seven other pumping stations.

Huntingdon also serves part of the territory of the municipalities of Godmanchester and Hinchinbrook in the treatment of wastewater.

For the territory of the City and part of the municipalities of Godmanchester and Hinchinbrooke, the Public Works Department sees to the supply and distribution of drinking water through a network of 27 km of pipeline.
